Each square in “After-Image” Nos. 1, 2 & 3 is represented by the intricate folds created by different origami designs—in this case, that of a cat, repeated in four quadrants. Not unlike the ephemeral Mandala, the overall composition of this piece evokes a sense of calm, reflection, and a turning-inward of the self.
